Fleet teams need a repeatable checklist more than they need a hype cycle. Duty cycle grouping, charging dwell time, backup routing, financing assumptions, and driver operations should all be answered before purchase orders go out.

Incentives can improve the timing, but they should not replace the operational case. The healthiest programs usually begin with a pilot cohort, instrument the real-world usage, and then scale with cleaner charger and procurement assumptions.
